Boise, March 30, 2017:  Strider Group LLC (“Strider Group”) is pleased to announce the execution of a 5-year lease for 37,500 sf in its Beechcraft Building, located in the Gowen Industrial Park (Gowen and Eisenman corridor, Boise, ID), to PODS Enterprises LLC (“PODS”). PODS is an international company that revolutionized the moving and storage process with the invention of their portable storage containers in 1998, which introduced a new level of freedom and flexibility to its clients. Since their founding, PODS has been a leader in the portable storage industry, with a network of more than 230 secure PODS storage centers in North America. 

“Developing a building on ‘spec’ always involves a leap of faith. We are thrilled to have a lease for over 70% of the building prior to its completion. It’s a bit of a relief, and an affirmation of our efforts and strategy,” stated Scott Thomson, Managing Director of Strider Group. “Or course, we couldn’t have done it without our design and construction partners – Larson Architects, the Land Group, and Layton Construction. They’ve designed and built us an institutional quality building that will serve tenants for decades to come.”

The Beechcraft Building, located at 6895 S Eisenman Road, is a new 52,500 square foot Class A concrete tilt building with 32' clear height and ESFR sprinklers, with such modern, efficient features as skylights and LED lighting. The Slipstream Building, its 60,000 square foot sister building, is nearing completion in Caldwell, ID.
